Is a referral necessary for an initial appointment at the surgery?
No, no referral is necessary.
How can I make an appointment?
Either by telephone during office hours, online via my website or by email.
Can the consultation be covered by health insurance (e-card)?
No, I work exclusively as an elective doctor without a health insurance contract. However, you can submit the fee note you have received to your health insurance company in order to receive a partial refund.
How long do you take for a patient?
This can vary from case to case and depends, among other things, on the disease. I will gladly take about 30-45 minutes for a new presentation.
How can I pay at your practice?
You can pay in cash, by debit card or credit card. Bank transfers are not accepted.
Where will any surgery be performed?
Due to the excellent infrastructure and quality, any surgery will be performed at the Vienna Private Clinic (Pelikangasse 15, 1090 Vienna). This applies to privately insured patients, patients paying extra for special classes or self-pay patients.
How long is the waiting time for an operation appointment?
We always endeavor to offer you the earliest possible date for your operation and, if necessary, appointments for an emergency operation. Once you have been admitted to the surgery, I will contact you as soon as an appointment has been made at the hospital. Self-paying patients or generally insured patients with additional payment will first receive a cost estimate before an appointment can be booked.
