explanation
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website.
We have summarized the current status on the use of cookies and Google Analytics for you here. Further information and details on these topics can be found in the following content on this page.
Cookie status
Cookies are activated by default on this website, as we do not store any personal data in them. In cases where this is necessary at a later date, we will obtain your separate consent in advance. The use of cookies was confirmed by clicking on the ‘Understood’ link in the cookie notice banner.
Google Analytics status
Google Analytics is set up and activated on this website. Data collection was started by clicking on the ‘Understood’ link in the cookie notice banner. Your IP address is recorded anonymously. You have the option of deactivating the use of Google Analytics at any time by clicking on the following link.
Contact us
If you contact us via a form or via an e-mail address listed on our website, we will use the data you send us solely for the purpose of processing your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. In some cases, however, it is necessary for us to process your data further and record it separately.
Log data/server logs
Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by the Internet browser you use and stored in log files (server log files) on the web server we use. These files contain the following information, among others: Name/URL of the website accessed, host name of the requesting provider, date and time of the server request, browser type and version, operating system and the URL of the previously visited page (referrer URL). The log data is only used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of our website. This log data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Our hosting provider is the company WORLD4YOU Internet Services GmbH (Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, www.world4you.com).
Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website, for example to save the current language selection. These are small text files that are transferred to your browser via a web server. The information stored in cookies helps us to tailor the use of our website to individual needs and to continuously improve our offering. We never store personal data without your consent. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. A banner at the bottom of our website indicates the use of cookies. By clicking on the “Understood” link, you confirm that you are aware of the use of cookies on our website. The validity of this cookie confirmation is set to 365 days and will no longer be displayed when you visit our website again within this period (unless the cookie has been deleted by you by then or the page is accessed with a different browser).
Functional restrictions without cookies
If you generally restrict or prevent the use of cookies, certain areas and services of our website may not function as expected. Cookies that are already on your computer can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The procedure for this varies depending on the browser. Information on this and other options regarding cookies can be found on the pages of the respective browser providers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Opera.
Google Analytics / Web analysis
On our website we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (hereinafter always referred to as “Google” or “Google Analytics”). Google Analytics uses so-called targeted cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website.
IP anonymization / pseudonymization
As your privacy is important to us, your user data is pseudonymized. We use the function “Activation of IP anonymization” or “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is recorded by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible. In exceptional cases, IP addresses may be transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google will process this information on our behalf in order to analyze the use of our website, compile reports on website activity and provide us with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Deactivate Google Analytics / prevent data collection
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by Google Analytics cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by selecting the appropriate cookie settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, other areas and services of our website may not function as expected (for more information, please refer to the “Cookies” section under “Functional restrictions without cookies”).
Google also offers its own browser plug-in to deactivate Google Analytics, which can be downloaded and installed on this website.
You can also deactivate data collection by Google Analytics specifically for this website by clicking on the following link. A special cookie with the name “ga-disable-UA-{ID}” is set in the browser currently being used. If no other measures have been taken to avoid or deactivate cookies or Google Analytics, deleting this cookie will result in Google Analytics collecting data again.

Order data processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing (Data Processing Agreement).
The relationship with Google is based on the so-called “EU-US Privacy Shield”, an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA. It can therefore be assumed that there is an “adequate level of data protection” when Google processes personal data and that the data is handled in compliance with data protection regulations. Google’s certification under the Privacy Shield can be viewed at privacyshield.gov.
Further information can be found in the Google Analytics terms of use and in Google’s general privacy policy.
Google Fonts
For the uniform presentation of text content, we use Google Fonts on our website, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). This integration is usually carried out by an external server call at Google in the USA, whereby it can be assumed that even more extensive information – for example IP addresses – is collected, stored and analyzed. For data protection reasons, we therefore refrain from such direct integration and provide these fonts locally via the web server we use. If your browser does not support web fonts, one of your computer’s standard fonts will be used automatically.
You can find more information on this in the Google Fonts FAQs or in Google’s privacy policy.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our website, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). These maps are usually displayed using a program code provided by Google, a so-called iFrame, which is embedded directly in the page content. This technology leads to external server calls to Google in the USA as soon as a website is loaded, whereby it can be assumed that even more extensive information – such as IP addresses – is collected, stored and analyzed. For data protection reasons, we have therefore implemented a 2-click solution, whereby the actual map (and thus the data collection by Google) is only dynamically reloaded after confirmation of a hint text.
Details can be found in the Google Maps terms of use.
Please check there regularly, as the data protection provisions of Google products are constantly updated and adapted due to extended functionalities.
Admin area/login
In addition to the user area (front end), which is freely accessible to all visitors, our website also has its own admin area (back end). This is not part of the official menu structure and is reserved exclusively for our administrators for the purpose of content and functional management of the website. Naturally, we have a heightened and legitimate interest in protecting this area from unauthorized access. We use special security measures for this purpose, whereby we also store IP addresses temporarily or, if necessary, permanently and block access if multiple incorrect and/or unauthorized login attempts (e.g. using incorrect access data) have been made from these addresses.
Your rights
In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
